A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for the Hudson Valley from Sunday evening into Monday as a powerful nor'easter will move up the east coast with powerful winds and blizzard conditions.
The Hudson Valley won't be spared with 6-10 inches possible in Poughkeepsie with totals increasing further south into Westchester, Rockland and Orange Counties.
The areas hardest hit will be the coastal lines of New Jersey, New York City, Long Island and Connecticut. Snow totals could measure 2-3" per hour with wind gusts near 40 mph where white out conditions are expected.
